Our service works with GitHub OAuth and is dependent on the GitHub API. You can check the GitHub API status here

If GitHub is not available, you cannot login to the BackHub user interface. However, if you have an SSH key added to your GitHub account and you have activated the “Clone From Backhub” feature in your user settings, you can clone your repositories directly from BackHub servers using the following clone URL scheme git@git.backhub.co:username/repositoryname .

We also recommend connecting an Amazon S3 bucket to your account to sync backups. When you have an Amazon S3 bucket connected, you are not dependent on GitHub and/or BackHub and can access your data anytime.

If you have an enterprise plan with enterprise SLA, you can also contact us to perform a disaster recovery of your data.
